On Monday, August 8, the Municipality of West Maas en Waal and DijkenSport.nl signed a new agreement. The municipality will be the main sponsor of this regional sports event until 2025.

Maintaining and enhancing liveability
The application for the Village Deal has been submitted and 'approved'. Six organizations and associations from Altforst concluded this deal together with the Municipality of West Maas en Waal and the Province of Gelderland.
