Invitation: Reopening of Ons Tuin Alphen

‘Ons Tuin Alphen’ will reopen on October 3. We cordially invite you to attend.

This renovated exercise garden offers residents of all ages the opportunity to meet each other in an accessible way and to be active. 'Ons Tuin Alphen' is equipped with equipment that encourages sporting and recreational activities. 

The aim of the reopening is to give new impetus to this meeting place, where young and old alike can exercise together. In addition, the garden contributes to a climate-proof environment in Alphen.

  • Location: Ons Tuin Alphen, next to Mariënhof Elementary School
  • Time: 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Alderman Rob Reuvers, responsible for quality of life and sports in the municipality, will perform the opening ceremony and emphasize the importance of exercise and community spirit in Alphen. After the official ceremony, there will be an opportunity to explore the garden, participate in demonstrations of the various equipment, and chat with local residents while enjoying coffee, tea, and a healthy snack.
