Support Center for Informal Caregivers organizes cabaret evening for informal caregivers

On Thursday, November 14, the Steunpunt Mantelzorg (Informal Care Support Center) is organizing a special evening for informal caregivers in the municipality of West Maas en Waal as part of the annual Informal Care Day. During this evening, there will be a free cabaret program provided by song cabaret "Het draait om mensen nietwaar" (It's all about people, isn't it), which focuses on the lives of informal caregivers in a light-hearted way. The program offers plenty of recognition and humor, with room for interaction and sing-alongs.

Informal caregivers bear a lot of responsibility

Informal caregivers look after a loved one who needs more care than usual, which often involves worry and stress. Through their commitment and dedication, they make a huge difference in the lives of their loved ones. With this cabaret evening, the Steunpunt Mantelzorg (Informal Care Support Center) wants to offer these informal caregivers a moment of relaxation and appreciation.

Program

The evening will take place at VTC Wamel, Clarissenstraat 2 in Wamel, and is exclusively open to informal caregivers in West Maas en Waal. The program is as follows:

  • 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Doors open with coffee, tea, and refreshments
  • 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.: Cabaret program with intermission, including refreshments
  •  9:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.: Opportunity to chat over refreshments
