The Informal Care Support Center is organizing a comedy night for informal caregivers

On Thursday, November 14, the Informal Care Support Center is organizing a special evening for informal caregivers in the municipality West Maas en Waal part of the annual Informal Care Day. During this evening, a free cabaret show will be presented by the song-based cabaret group “Het draait om mensen nietwaar,” which takes a lighthearted look at the lives of informal caregivers. The show offers plenty of relatable moments and humor, with opportunities for audience interaction and sing-alongs.

Informal caregivers bear a heavy burden

Informal caregivers look after a loved one who needs more care than usual, which often comes with worry and stress. Through their hard work and dedication, they make a huge difference in the lives of their loved ones. With this cabaret evening, the Steunpunt Mantelzorg wants to offer these informal caregivers a moment of relaxation and appreciation.

Program

The event will take place at VTC Wamel, Clarissenstraat 2 in Wamel, and is open exclusively to informal caregivers in West Maas en Waal. The program is as follows:

  • 7:00–7:30 p.m.: Doors open with coffee, tea, and refreshments
  • 7:30–9:30 p.m.: Cabaret show with an intermission, including a drink
  •  9:30–10:00 p.m.: Time to chat over a drink
