West Maas en Waal engages with residents on participation
Working on our beautiful municipality, we do that together. Because the residents of West Maas en Waal know what it's like to live in the municipality.

How can residents and the municipality work together to ensure that residents have a say and can contribute ideas regarding the decisions the municipality makes? And in what ways do residents want to have a say and contribute ideas?

Working on our beautiful municipality is a collaborative effort. The residents of West Maas en Waal know what it's like to live here. They possess experience, knowledge, and undoubtedly ideas. Therefore, the municipality of West Maas en Waal wants to engage in dialogue with its residents.
This will take place from Monday, April 15, through Tuesday, April 23. During this time, a van will tour all the villages to talk with residents. Staff from the research firm Opiniepijlers will conduct the interviews together with municipal employees, an Alderman the mayor.

Residents also have the option to complete the survey online at . Even residents who missed the survey van are encouraged to complete the survey online. This can be done between April 15 and 30.
The results will be announced at the end of June
The results of these discussions are important to the municipality. The findings will be posted on our website ’s resident participation page at the end of June. When the time comes, we will of course announce this through our various communication channels.
