Lost and found items
If you have lost or found something, you can report this to the municipality. Not to the police.
You must report it to the police if you think it is theft.

Reporting theft
Always go to the police to report a stolen item. You can do this in person at the police station, but you can often also do it online at .
If your passport, identity card, or driver's license is missing or has been lost, please report this to the municipality. We are required by law to destroy travel documents (passports and ID cards).
