Authorities that require your relocation details

The municipality will notify the authorities that require this information for the performance of their statutory duties of your move.

What should I do?

Notify the new municipality of your move. Do this no later than 5 days after you have moved. If you want to notify them earlier, you can do so up to 4 weeks before the date of your move.

Please note:

If you report your change of address after moving, the date of the move will be the date of the change of address. This must be done within 5 days of moving.

  • If you report the change later, the date on which you notify the municipality of the change will be the official date of the change of address.
  • If you have notified the municipality of a future move, the municipality will update your address details on the date you provide. This will then be the date of your change of address.
