Feedback on the village tour regarding the environmental vision

What makes your village unique? And what matters most to your village when it comes to housing, the environment, nature, water, recreation, agriculture, and health? Where do opportunities and possibilities lie? What should we preserve, and what can we improve? We held an open house in each village to discuss these issues with you.

Boven-Leeuwen, April 11, 2023

Thank you once again for your input last week at the Boven-Leeuwen community meeting Boven-Leeuwen the Environmental Vision and the Rural Vitality Program. We were pleased to see such a large turnout at the meeting. With your input, we can take further steps toward developing a widely supported Environmental Vision and Program for the municipality and your village. 

The atmosphere of the evening

Based on the 11 different themes for the Environmental Vision, we surveyed your views on a wide range of

on various topics. You shared your opinions in large numbers on the different statements and provided a great deal of additional input. In Boven-Leeuwen , we Boven-Leeuwen that the topic of housing is a major concern for residents, particularly when it comes to suitable locations. You also had a lot to say about the future of the rural areas and the topics of health & the environment and traffic & transportation.

In Maasbommel , we Maasbommel that the potential construction of a pig barn on Kievietweg is a major concern among residents. In addition, you shared your opinions in large numbers, particularly on the themes of nature & landscape, health & environment, and recreation & tourism.
