Invitation to information evening on designation of promising reception location for refugees

On December 3, 2024, the municipal executive designated the location on Friessestraat in Boven-Leeuwen as a promising site for the temporary accommodation of 150 to 180 refugees. This decision is a first step in investigating the feasibility of this accommodation location, in collaboration with the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA).
We understand that this topic raises questions and concerns. That is why we cordially invite you to an information evening where we will provide you with further information and answer your questions.
