Pest control
What is it?
Controlling pests in public spaces is not an official task of the municipality. The municipality will only take action if public health is at risk. For example, if the nuisance caused by the pests is so serious that an entire neighborhood or district is at risk of disease.
What should I do?
Are you experiencing problems with pests?
Combating rats is not the responsibility of the municipality. You will need to hire a specialized company for this. However, we do have some tips for you on how to combat rats.
You can report pests via our reporting system or via the BuitenBeter app.
You can download the BuitenBeter app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Select 'West Maas en Waal' as your municipality and you can submit reports.
