Funding is still available for green initiatives!
From planting flower seeds to organizing a secondhand fashion show: residents have already submitted many great ideas for the Climate Week Grant. With this grant, residents of the municipality of West Maas en Waal can organize their own activities that inspire others to live more sustainably.
Alderman Marieke van den Boom is pleased with the creative initiatives: “Residents often know best what their neighborhood or village needs. With this grant, we’re giving residents the opportunity to carry out ideas that contribute to a more sustainable society.”
Activities may take place throughout the month of November. The condition is that the activity is intended for multiple residents and contributes to the reuse of materials, greening, energy conservation, or waste reduction.
You can register through October 31
