Renovation of Jasmijnstraat in Beneden-Leeuwen
This street is in need of renovation.
The main activities we do
- replacing the stones on the street
- replacing the stones of the sidewalk
- replacement of the sewer system
- laying a new sewer to drain rainwater (see flyer)
- replacing the plants in the green areas
- planting new and more trees
The layout of the street will remain as it is now as much as possible. You can see this in the preliminary design drawing for Jasmijnstraat.
Disconnecting the rainwater
We are installing a rainwater sewer in Jasmijnstraat. This will reduce nuisance during heavy rainfall. You can help too! You can do this by disconnecting your downspout from the sewage system. This can only be done at the front of the house. You can read more about this in the Jasmijnstraat disconnection flyer. You can register to have your downspout disconnected. How? We will let you know. This is free of charge and we will arrange it for you.

We can still make minor adjustments to this design. You can indicate this via the response form. We are also curious to hear what you think of the new layout. Have we overlooked anything?

Next steps
We collect the response forms in a response memorandum. In this memorandum, we also include our response to all comments. We use the information in this response memorandum to turn the preliminary design into a final design.
On Monday, March 16, the response memorandum and the final drawing will be posted on this page.
