Roads are closed or traffic is disrupted in various locations throughout our municipality. This is due to roadworks being carried out by the municipality, utility companies or contractors. Below are the most important ones.
Beneden-Leeuwen

- Sewer work: replacement of the wastewater sewer and installation of a new stormwater sewer
Construction Work at De Krozenbogerd, October 5 through November 13

Reason
- Preparing a section of De Krozenbogerd for residential development. This will involve, among other things, installing curbs and laying asphalt. The bike path toward Het Ambacht will be partially redesigned. A retaining structure will also be built.

Veesteeg will be one-way at the roundabout with Van Heemstraweg, October 21 through November 11
Location
- A section at the beginning of Veesteeg, near the roundabout with Van Heemstraweg, is closed to traffic in one direction.
You can still enter the village via Veesteeg. However, you cannot exit the village toward the provincial road.

Until the end of this year, we will be closing off a different section of the street each time. - The red line indicates which section of the street is currently closed.

Power Grid Expansion Work, July 1 through mid-October

- Various streets in Wamel. This is causing traffic disruptions. Some streets are closed, and others have temporary one-way traffic. The traffic signs indicate the current situation.
