Request information on the implementation budget for the Sports Agreement

Budget Management and Monitoring

  • The core group is responsible for monitoring and managing the budget. It reviews budget requests from its independent and supervisory role.
  • Before a specific budget is made available, a funding request (via an application form) must be submitted to the core group for review.
  • Once the core group has approved the plan, the implementation budget will be transferred.

Request a budget

  • Applications may be submitted to the core group at any time throughout the year. (Contact information for core group members)
  • Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis to ensure that all initiatives are given an equal opportunity.
  • The core group strives to reach a consensus when making decisions. If consensus cannot be reached, decisions are made by majority vote. To be eligible to vote, you must be present at the meeting.

Requirements

  • The activity aligns with at least one of the themes of the sports agreement.
  • Funds under the Sports Agreement are not intended to finance individual organizations and their core activities. Expenditures must serve the collective interest.
  • Existing broad-based activities or initiatives that are already receiving funding are also ineligible. The funds allocated under the Sports Agreement are intended for additional, complementary, and broad-based activities, which are also the focus of the measures outlined in the Sports Agreement.
  • This is a seed fund; its purpose is to stimulate, launch, and kickstart initiatives. The goal is to make these initiatives sustainable as much as possible.
  • For each initiative or activity, submit a funding request using the provided template. Keep it brief and to the point.
  • We need to be realistic; the budget can only be spent once.
  • Once an application is approved, the applicant (the designated project leader) will have access to the allocated funds.
  • After the campaign or activity has concluded, the project leader must submit a brief report to the core group. This information is used for monitoring, evaluating, and accounting for the use of resources.
  • Applications may not exceed €5,000, and funding will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
