View construction plans and drawings

What is it?

Building plans and construction drawings from our municipality are stored in a number of locations.

  • The original construction files from before 1984 are kept at the Regional Archives in Nijmegen. The municipality of West Maas en Waal has scans of these files. We can email these to residents and third parties.
  • Construction files from 1984 to approximately April 2013 can be found in the archives at the town hall.

Would you like to view building plans from before April 2013? Please email your request to info@westmaasenwaal.nl.

  • As of April 2013, the licensing and enforcement department has been merged into the Rivierenland Environmental Service. They carry out all work related to construction, renovation, and licensing for our municipality.

If you would like to view building plans or drawings dated after April 2013, please contact them by telephone on 0344 579 314 or send an email to ingekomenpost@odrivierenland.nl.

How does it work?

Anyone applying for an environmental permit for construction must submit a construction plan. This plan details the construction or renovation work to be carried out. The municipality also requests a drawing of the construction or renovation, plus a site plan. All this information can be viewed at the municipality or the Rivierenland Environmental Service.

New building plans are published in a local newspaper and on the municipal website. You can view them after they have been announced.
