Oath of Office/Pledge Municipality of West Maas en Waal
- I declare that I have taken note of the rules regarding integrity as laid down in the applicable legal provisions, the information security policy, the 'Clean Hands' note (code of conduct) and the Code of Conduct for the use of ICT facilities, and the Fraud and M&O policy of the Municipality of West Maas en Waal.
- I swear/promise that I will abide by these rules, as well as the Constitution and all other laws and regulations of the government.
- I swear/promise that I will faithfully and diligently perform the duties assigned to me and conduct myself as befits a good public servant; that I will be conscientious, incorruptible, and trustworthy; and that I will do nothing to bring discredit upon the office or the municipality.
- I will not abuse the public authority entrusted to me.
- I handle confidential information and municipal property with care.
- I am loyal to the administrative bodies of the Municipality of West Maas en Waal and to the policy it has established.
- I swear/promise that I will not accept any promise, favor, or gift from anyone in order to do or refrain from doing anything in the course of my employment.
