What is it?
If you want to install an alarm system, you will usually need an environmental permit from the municipality.

What should I do?
- Check the Omgevingsloket website at to see if you need a permit for your alarm system.
- You can then apply for the permit directly online.
- Please specify the type of alarm and where you would like to install it.
How long does it take?
You will hear from us within 8 weeks. The municipality may extend this period by 6 weeks. Sometimes we need advice and approval from another organization (competent authority). In that case, an additional 4 weeks will be added.
