Recreation and Tourism Platform (PRET)

Do you have a promising initiative that provides an economic boost to the chosen theme and adds value? If so, you may be eligible for a financial contribution from the municipality.

The Recreation and Tourism Platform (PRET)

Together with business owners in the recreation sector, we have established an incentive fund: the PRET Fund. This fund is designed to provide support for promising initiatives—specifically those in the fields of recreation and tourism that have the potential to generate an economic boost. The incentive grant covers up to 50% of the costs incurred, up to a maximum of €2,500, provided that the available budget of the Recreation and Tourism Incentive Fund is sufficient.

The Municipal Executive decides whether to grant an incentive subsidy. Before doing so, they seek advice from the Recreation and Tourism Platform. The Platform meets at least four times a year. In addition to its advisory role, the Platform also discusses current recreational topics, projects, and events.

The Platform consists of:

  • "De Gouden Ham" Business Association
  • "Verrassend Leeuwen" Business Association
  • "DOV" Business Association
  • the Meanders of the Meuse
  • Out® value
  • Rivierenland Regional Tourism Office (RBT)
  • Dutch Hospitality Industry
  • Southern Agricultural and Horticultural Organization (ZLTO)
  • the Association of Recreation Entrepreneurs in the Netherlands (Recron)
