Design TAM Environmental Plan
On December 16, 2025, the Municipal Executive of West Maas en Waal decided to approve the draft TAM Environmental Plan "Chapter 22r Bikkelen 36-38D Beneden Leeuwen" and to initiate the procedure by making the plan available for public inspection.
Purpose and location
The plan revises the zoning regime for the plots known in the land registry as municipality of Wamel, section K, numbers 219, 285, 579, 754, 1074, and 1076 (partially). The land on the north side of Beneden Leeuwen is currently partially zoned for commercial use. The plan provides for the addition of nine homes and the retention of the chip shop at this location.
