Municipal Election Board Meeting

The mayor of West Maas en Waal announces the following.

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, the Municipality of West Maas en Waal will establish a Municipal Electoral Committee (GSB). This is for the election of the members of the House of Representatives on October 29, 2025.

The meeting will take place at the town hall, located at 11 Dijkstraat in Beneden-Leeuwen, starting at 10:00 a.m.

If the GSB is unable to complete the proceedings by Thursday, October 30, it will adjourn the hearing. In that case, the GSB will resume the hearing on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the same address. The hearing will then resume at 10:00 a.m.

The GSB reviews the official reports. These were prepared after the votes from the October 29, 2025, election were counted.
In the event of counting errors or unexplained discrepancies, a recount of the ballot or at the polling station will take place. This is carried out by the members and staff of the GSB. Any errors are corrected. The votes are then entered into OSV.
After all checks are complete, the chair of the GSB announces the results of the counts.
They also prepare an official report detailing the results of each election.
