assessed value
Do you have questions about the valuation of your home?
We cannot help you with questions about the valuation of your home. For this, you will need to contact the BSR.
To gain insight into the valuation process , you can log in to Wozcommunicatie.nl.
What is it?
Every year, the value of your house, building, plot, or land is determined. This is called the "valuation of immovable property" (WOZ), or the WOZ value. The municipality uses this value to determine how much property tax (OZB) you have to pay.
The Rivierenland Tax Cooperation (BSR) is responsible for determining the WOZ value for our municipality.
How does it work?
The WOZ value is the value of the immovable property on January 1 of the year preceding the tax year. This date is called the valuation date.
What should I do?
The WOZ value is stated on the property tax assessment you receive each year. If you want to check how the value was determined, you can request the valuation report.
Lodge an objection
If you disagree with the WOZ value, you can lodge an objection. Include the assessment number in your objection and explain why you disagree. Send your objection to the BSR within six weeks of the date on the assessment notice.
If you would like more information or have any questions about the WOZ value, please contact the BSR appraisers. They can be reached on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on telephone number 0344 704 704.
Additional information
The municipal commuter tax and levies imposed by the national government and water board are also calculated using the WOZ value.
