Wmo, implementation supervisor

What is it?

Supervisor for the implementation of the Social Support Act at the Gelderland Municipal Health Service

The municipality of West Maas en Waal has decided to appoint a supervisory official at GGD Gelderland-Zuid for this purpose. This official will investigate emergencies and supervise the quality of providers with whom the municipality has a subsidy or contract relationship within the framework of the Social Support Act (Wmo).

Supervision of youth assistance remains unchanged

Under the Youth Act, the Youth Care Inspectorate (IJZ) monitors the quality of youth care. As is currently the case, youth care providers must report any emergencies within youth care to the National Youth Care Inspectorate.

Wmo providers have a reporting obligation.

As of January 1, 2015, Wmo providers are legally required to report any violent incidents or emergencies involving the care they provide to the supervisory official. The report to the supervisory official must be made immediately, but no later than three working days after the emergency/violent incident.
