Wmo, Implementation Oversight Authority

What is it?

Wmo Implementation Supervisor at GGD Gelderland

The Municipality of West Maas en Waal has decided to appoint a supervisory official at GGD Gelderland-Zuid for this purpose. This official investigates incidents and supervises the quality of providers with whom the municipality has a subsidy or contract relationship under the Wmo.

Supervision of Youth Services Will Not Change

Under the Youth Act, the Youth Care Inspectorate (IJZ) oversees the quality of youth care services. As is currently the case, youth care providers must report any serious incidents within the youth care system to the National Youth Care Inspectorate.

Wmo providers are required to report.

As of January 1, 2015, a Wmo provider is legally required to report any incident of violence or emergency involving the care provided to the supervising official. The report to the supervising official must be made immediately, but no later than three business days after the emergency or incident of violence.
