West Maas en Waal is investigating the need for a sustainable hub: residents can contribute ideas

This is an old post.

The municipality is inviting residents to share their ideas about a potential sustainability hub. A hub is a place where residents can come together to exchange ideas on sustainability, launch projects, and work together to create a sustainable, clean, and future-proof municipality.

The municipality is inviting residents to share their ideas about a potential sustainability hub. A hub is a place where residents can come together to exchange sustainable ideas, launch projects, and work together to create a sustainable, clean, and future-proof municipality. The sustainability hub has not yet been established; the municipality first wants to work with residents to explore what the hub could entail and what ideas are out there.

Exploring ideas together with residents

“The sustainability hub offers residents the opportunity to work together to create a livable and future-proof community,” says Alderman van den Boom. “We’re very curious to hear what ideas our residents have and what a hub might look like. Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts and contribute. So please come to the kickoff meeting!”

Interactive sessions

To develop a plan, the municipality is organizing a series of interactive sessions that interested parties can attend.

  • January 29, Session 1: Getting Started: What Is a Sustainable Hub and What Opportunities Does It Offer?
