West Maas en Waal its next steps following the ruling in the preliminary injunction proceedings

The Yasemin Group has West Maas en Waal a motion for preliminary relief against the municipality West Maas en Waal . The case concerns the validity of an agreement entered into between the municipality and the Yasemin Group. On December 22, the court in Arnhem ruled in favor of the Yasemin Group.  

The agreement covers three locations: Altforst, Wamel Maasbommel. Maasbommel the subject of this preliminary injunction proceeding. 
The preliminary injunction proceedings concern the content of the agreement and whether a reservation applies. This reservation pertains to the municipal council approval municipal council the location and to obtaining an environmental permit for the location. The court has ruled that the municipality must comply with the agreement.

Alderman van den Boom-Witzel: “The judge has issued a ruling. Local residents were the first to be notified of the verdict. We will use the Christmas break to determine what steps we will take.”
