West Maas en Waal Partially Upheld
On March 18, 2024, the preliminary injunction filed by the Jasmin Group against the Municipality of West Maas en Waal took place. The ruling was issued on March 28.

In it, the Jasmin Group made the following demands:
- Compliance with all legal obligations arising from the lease agreement, specifically Wamel actually house 35 Ukrainians in Maasbommel 50 in Wamel ;
- A monthly payment of €271,000 for the leased properties, effective February 1, 2024, and for the duration of the lease agreement;
- Payment of the outstanding balance of €767,443, as well as the extrajudicial costs;
- Payment of the costs of the preliminary injunction proceedings;
The court has partially ruled in favor of the Jasmin Group. The claim that the company Wamel actually Wamel 85 Ukrainian refugees at Raadhuisdijk 18 in Maasbommel Wilhelminastraat 9 in Wamel has been dismissed. The third claim, for payment of an alleged arrears of €767,443, was reduced by the court to €177,126.50. The court did, however, order the municipality to make a monthly payment of €272,922.67.
Alderman van den Boom-Witzel: "Until now, we have been paying rent for 85 people in Wamel Maasbommel. This ruling means that we will also have to pay for catering and services for 85 people, even though these are not provided by the Jasmin Group. Over the coming week, we will hold consultations and consider our next steps."
