Heating program in development

The draft heating plan was approved by the municipal executive and was available for public review for six weeks starting on March 25, 2026. The period for submitting comments has now ended.

Every municipality is legally required to develop a heating plan. In this plan, we outline our general approach to sustainable heating for the coming years. Because the world and technology are changing rapidly, we cannot plan too far ahead. That is why we assess, on a village-by-village and period-by-period basis, which sustainable heating solutions are most appropriate at that time.

To help develop the draft heating program, we asked residents to share their ideas through an online survey. During the public comment period, residents and organizations were able to submit their feedback (comments) on the draft heating program.

Next steps

We carefully review, evaluate, and respond to all submitted comments. Based on this, the council is working on the final version of the heating program.
