Nature volunteer groups

There are various volunteer groups active in nature. Together, they take care of nature in our municipality. For example, by counting birds or pruning trees.

High-stem brigade Land van Maas en Waal

The volunteers of the Standard Tree Brigades are committed to preserving standard orchards, now and in the future. After training at the Gelderland Landscape Management Foundation, each brigade sets to work independently. The members prune the standard trees together.

Meadow Bird Group Land van Maas en Waal

The farmland bird volunteers are committed to combating the decline of farmland birds. There are various types of farmland bird working groups, namely the meadow bird working groups, the partridge counting groups, and the field bird working groups.
