Nature volunteer groups
There are several volunteer groups active in nature conservation. Together, they help care for nature in our community—for example, through bird counts or pruning.
Land van Maas en Waal Standard-Tree Brigade
The volunteers of the Standard-Tree Brigades are dedicated to preserving standard-tree orchards, both now and in the future. After completing training with the Gelderland Landscape Management Foundation, each brigade begins working independently. The members work together to prune the standard-tree orchards.
