What is it?
If you have a low income and don't have enough money left over for food and clothing, you can go to the food bank. Here you can pick up a food package once a week. This package will last you a few days. It contains items such as bread, sandwich fillings, and vegetables.
How does it work?
The food bank looks at your disposable income. This is the income you have left after paying your fixed expenses, such as rent, electricity, and insurance.
