Transport within West Maas en Waal

There are several travel options for residents of the municipality of West Maas en Waal. These include traveling by Arriva bus, HaltetaxiRRReis, the SLAG-busje, the AutoMobiel project, or using an O2share car-sharing service. If you have a Wmo transport indication, you may also be able to travel with Versis.

Arriva

  • Public transport buses: lines 42 and 165 operate through West Maas en Waal. You can plan your journey with Arriva.
  • On-demand bus: Arriva’s on-demand bus (Route 265) operates in the evenings and on weekends. You must book your ride at least one hour in advance by calling 0900 1961. The on-demand bus runs from stop to stop and uses several stops from the former neighborhood bus route. The on-demand bus runs from Beneden-Leeuwen Dreumel passes through Altforst, Appeltern, Maasbommel Alphen. There Appeltern two stops in Appeltern .

Halt Taxi RR Travel Gelderland

HaltetaxiRRReis is an on-demand shared taxi service that operates flexibly from stop to stop. The Haltetaxi connects well with buses and trains. SLAG van (Alphen)

The SLAG minibus is operated by the village platform Stichting Leefbaar Alphen (SLAG) to provide transportation for residents. Volunteers drive the minibus within the Den Bosch–Nijmegen–Oss–Tiel area. Reservations can be made, preferably 24 hours in advance, by calling 06 1294 5756.

Volunteer transportation through Sociom

Sociom volunteers can work with you to find solutions if you’re unable to go out on your own. For example, they can help you find a companion to accompany you to the hospital, visit family, or participate in a local activity. Together, you’ll explore what works best in your situation and what kind of support is needed.

Wmo Transportation

Versis is the provider of Wmo transport in the municipality of West Maas en Waal. To use Wmo transport, a Wmo indication is required. You can contact VraagWijzer West Maas en Waal for this.

Versis (Wmo Transportation)

Versis provides supplemental transportation services in Rivierenland. Anyone with a Wmo transportation referral can travel with Versis. Service is available on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.

Versis offers door-to-door, door-to-stop, or stop-to-stop transportation. Book your ride well in advance by calling 088 1235 757. You can also book your ride online at .

Versis charges a boarding fee and a per-kilometer rate. There are different rates for regular passengers and for passengers with a specific destination. All information regarding passenger fares can be found on the Versis website.
