Versis (additional regional transport)
What is it?
Supplementary regional transport is transport by private car, taxi bus, or wheelchair bus for people who are unable to travel by other means.
Assistance with transportation via the municipality
Are you unable to travel by bicycle, bus, or train? And are you unable to arrange transportation with the help of friends or family? Then you can ask the municipality for help.
The municipality will assess your problems and what you need transportation for. It will then propose a solution. This could be a taxi pass for Versis. It could also be another solution or transportation service, if that is appropriate for your situation. You can contact VraagWijzer for this. VraagWijzer can be reached at 0487 790 790.
Versis
Versis is a door-to-door taxi service. You must book a ride through the transport provider. With Versis, you usually travel with other people. You share the taxi bus with other passengers. This means that your journey may take a little longer.
Versis drives from door to door, so you don't have to wait at a bus stop. The taxi buses run every working day from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. On weekends, they run from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.
What does it cost?
Traveling with Versis is not free. With a special taxi pass, you receive a discount on Versis. This brings the price closer to that of traveling with 'normal' public transport. You always pay a personal contribution. Visit the Versis website for more information about the costs and the number of kilometers you can travel.
