Set up traffic control for events

How does it work?

To become a traffic controller, the following Requirements apply, among others:

• You must be at least 16 years old
• You have received instructions for traffic controllers
• You have passed the exam on the website www.verkeersregelaarsexamen.nl
• You have received a letter of appointment from the municipality

Is the event traffic controller under 18 years of age? If so, he or she may only work on roads where:

• the speed does not exceed 50 km/h
• There is sufficient street lighting when it is dark or visibility is poor
