Do you have a keen legal eye and do you get energy from facilitating spatial developments? Then be sure to read on! Team Ruimte is looking for an enthusiastic and enterprising Legal Advisor Land Affairs for 24 hours per week.
What are you going to do?
You play a key role in the entire process, from initiative to realization. You are a strong sparring partner for project leaders and external initiators when it comes to legal matters. Whether it concerns large, complex housing projects or agricultural, recreational, or small housing initiatives, you provide clear advice on the legal playing field. You draft, assess, advise on, and negotiate contracts such as letters of intent and preliminary agreements. You oversee the entire process and monitor legal quality throughout. You ensure compliance with agreements and represent the municipality in legal proceedings.
In addition, you advise on costs and acquisitions and prepare administrative decision-making.
You maintain good internal and external contacts and everyone knows where to find you. You work closely with colleagues in area development and urban planners.
What do we expect from you?
- You have at least a completed relevant higher professional education or university degree in the field of law, preferably administrative law;
- You have experience in land matters, area development, contract formation, environmental law, cost recovery, and municipal decision-making.
- You are well informed about the latest developments;
- You think holistically and practically and are clear in your advice and communication;
- You are flexible, independent, take initiative and responsibility, and think in a solution-oriented way;
- You have negotiation skills;
- You have a good sense of administrative relationships.
What do we offer you?
- A varied and challenging job;
- A salary of up to €5,554 (job scale 10) for a 36-hour working week. The salary depends on your education and experience. The salary mentioned is indicative; the position has yet to be formally evaluated.
- An employment contract for a period of one year. If performance is satisfactory, we will convert this into a permanent contract;
- A monthly supplement of 17.05% on top of your gross salary: the Individual Choice Budget (IKB). This consists of vacation pay, life-course savings contribution, and end-of-year bonus. You can use this for extra salary, vacation hours, or a new bicycle, for example.
- Do you have a student loan with DUO? Then you can use your IKB to repay part of it each year:
- A good pension plan with ABP pension fund;
- You can work partly from home and will be provided with a phone and laptop on loan;
- A commuting allowance and a working from home allowance;
- A vitality allowance of €500 gross per year (based on a 36-hour working week). For example, for a gym membership, sportswear, or a visit to the sauna;
- Your daily serving of fruit;
- Ample and free parking spaces for your car and bicycle;

- What to do during your break? Plenty! Walk along the beautiful dike, shop in our charming town center, or grab a sandwich from the bakery around the corner: everything is within walking distance.
