Your artwork in our town hall?
Are you a current or former resident of West Maas en Waal, or do you have ties to our municipality? If so, you can exhibit your artwork in the town hall. You can use our central hall for this purpose. Every visitor who enters our building will immediately see your artwork.
A new exhibition is organized every three months. Are you interested? Please email Trudy Boerakker attboerakker@westmaasenwaal.nl.
We have already received registrations up to and including 2026. If you still wish to register, you will be placed on the waiting list.
Exhibition Irma Verhoeks
From January 6, 2026, until the end of March 2026, Irma Verhoeks will be exhibiting her paintings in the town hall in Beneden-Leeuwen. Portraits of people and animals as well as surrealistic works will be on display.
About 14 years ago, Irma started drawing and painting, and she quickly discovered her passion. She often paints portraits of people and animals that inspire her, and she also works on commission.
In addition to painting portraits, she regularly ventures into surrealism, where the representation of feelings and emotions play a role.
Her choice of materials varies from pastel chalk to oil paint, on canvas, wood, and paper. Examples of this can be found in this exhibition.
