Study allowance
What is it?
If you are a student with a disability, it can be difficult to work alongside your studies. A study allowance from the municipality can give you a helping hand. This will prevent you from having to borrow more money.
How does it work?
You are eligible for the study allowance if you:
- are 15 years of age or older
- is entitled to student finance or a contribution
- has little or no equity
- due to a structural medical limitation, you are unable to earn extra income alongside your studies
What should I do?
You can apply for the study allowance at Werkzaak Rivierenland. You will need the documents requested in the application form. Werkzaak Rivierenland will determine whether you meet the conditions and how much the study allowance will be. Payment will be made in a single installment or periodically. Werkzaak will also determine this.
You can find more information on the Werkzaak Rivierenland website .
