What is it?

If you are a student with a disability, it can be difficult to work while pursuing your studies. A student allowance from the municipality can provide you with some financial support. This helps you avoid having to take out additional loans.

How does it work?

You are eligible for the student allowance if you:

  • are 15 years of age or older
  • is eligible for student financial aid or a grant
  • has little or no equity
  • are unable to work part-time while studying due to a long-term medical condition

What should I do?

You can apply for the student allowance at Werkzaak Rivierenland. You will need the documents listed on the application form. Werkzaak Rivierenland will determine whether you Requirements the Requirements and the amount of the student allowance. Payment will be made in a single lump sum or in periodic installments.
