Structural expansion of the Beneden-Leeuwen Child Center

The Municipal Executive has decided to cooperate in the realization of the structural expansion of the Beneden-Leeuwen Children's Center. 

Expansion of Beneden-Leeuwen Child Center

The development of pupil numbers over the next 15 years shows that the lack of space in the Child Center will continue to increase. The area between Van Heemstraweg and Pax Junior/Child Center offers the possibility for a future-proof expansion of the Beneden-Leeuwen Child Center. The 1,600 m² expansion will be housed in a building spread over two floors.

In addition, adjustments will be made to public spaces to enable this structural expansion. Residents will be informed about this in due course.

Amendment to zoning plan

The expansion is planned for the area between Van Heemstraweg and Pax Junior/Kindcentrum. This expansion requires a change to the zoning plan. The zoning plan is now available for inspection at the town hall.
