Start Sjors Sportief & Creatief festively opened at De Terebint in Wamel

This festive opening marked the start of registration for hundreds of primary school children, who can use the well-known booklet to discover a wide range of sporting and creative activities.

Sjors Sportief & Creatief makes it possible for children to participate in activities in their own municipality in an accessible way, without having to become a member of a club. The booklet has been distributed to all primary schools and registration is possible via www.meedoeninmaasenwaal.nl.

During the opening, Alderman Reuvers emphasized the importance of discovery and participation: "It's wonderful to see how enthusiastic children are about what's on offer. Exercising, being creative, and doing things together is not only healthy, but also just a lot of fun."

The program consists of a wide range of activities offered by local associations, professionals, and volunteers. Sjors Sportief & Creatief thus contributes to a healthy, active, and promising youth in Druten and West Maas en Waal.
