Rivierenland region

West Maas en Waal is affiliated with Regio Rivierenland. Regio Rivierenland organizes effective cooperation between the eight municipalities located in the Betuwe, Bommelerwaard, and Land van Maas en Waal regions, enabling them to stand stronger together. This cooperation ensures a livable Rivierenland region that is a pleasant place to live, work, and relax.

The Rivierenland Region has adopted the Regional Ambition Document 2022-2025. This document describes the Rivierenland Region's commitment to stimulating the development of regional agribusiness, economy, logistics, recreation, and tourism.

In 2017, the Rivierenland Region established the Regional Investment Fund (RIF). This fund is intended to provide you with the final push you need to realize your plans. This support is not only financial, but also comes in the form of knowledge, experience, and practical assistance. In June 2022, the successor to this investment fund, the Regional Stimulation Fund, was launched.
