Test pits for archaeological research in Maasbommel
This is an old post.

The Meandering Meuse project will conduct archaeological research in the floodplains of Maasbommel in August.
In fact, in the 14th or 15th century, there was a house here surrounded by a moat. Test trenches are being dug and research is being conducted. This work will take about 8 weeks. The test trenches will be filled in again after the research is complete.
