Whether you’re going for a bike ride, taking a long walk, or decide on the spur of the moment to cross over, you can count on a warm welcome. The volunteer crew members are ready to greet you and add that special touch to your trip.

More than just a crossing

For years, these ferries have been a beloved part of recreational routes. They connect riverbanks, nature, villages, and towns, taking you to places you might not otherwise visit. Take a moment to breathe in the fresh air on the water, enjoy the view, and then continue on your way—the crossing is an experience in itself.

The festive opening on May 1 marks the start of a new recreational season, made possible by the collaboration between municipalities, volunteers, and Uit®waarde. Together, they ensure that recreational users can once again cross the water safely.
