One-time adjustment of hospitality opening hours
What is it?
If you are organizing a party or event at your hospitality business, you may want to adjust your opening hours for that occasion. In that case, you can apply to the municipality for an exemption to stay open longer.
What should I do?
You must apply for an exemption from the municipality at least 8 weeks in advance. Include the following information with your application:
- your name and the name of the manager
- name and address of your hospitality business
- why you want to stay open longer
- on which day(s) you would like to be open longer
- until what time you want to be open
How long will it take?
You will receive notification within 8 weeks as to whether you will be granted the exemption.
Lodge an objection
Do you disagree with the municipality's decision? If so, you can lodge an objection within six weeks.
