Temporarily adjust restaurant and bar hours
What is it?
If you are organizing a party or event at your restaurant or bar, you may want to adjust your opening hours for that occasion. In that case, you should apply to the municipality for a special permit to stay open later.
What should I do?
You must apply for an exemption from the municipality at least 8 weeks in advance. Please include the following information with your application:
- your name and the name of your supervisor
- Name and address of your restaurant or bar
- Why you want to stay open longer
- on which day(s) you would like to stay open later
- until what time you want to stay open
How long does it take?
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether your exemption has been granted.
File an objection
If you disagree with the municipality’s decision, you can file an objection within 6 weeks.
