The municipality issues gift certificates to, among others, informal caregivers and people facing financial hardship. The municipality also uses the gift certificates as gifts for third parties.
These gift certificates can only be redeemed at stores and businesses in our municipality.
Recipients of the gift certificates receive a booklet listing all participating businesses. Participation is free of charge for participating businesses.

Claiming redeemed gift certificates
The business owner can bundle the collected gift certificates and West Maas en Waal , along with the invoice or receipt(s), to the municipality West Maas en Waal . The business owner will then receive the amount shown on the invoice or receipt—up to the maximum value of the gift certificate—from the municipality.
