Subsidy for insulation (NIP subsidy)

Want to insulate your home? Then read on. You may be eligible for a subsidy!

From August 19, 2024, the NIP subsidy (National Insulation Program) will be available to homeowners with poorly insulated homes. The subsidy applies to measures implemented from January 1, 2023, and runs until December 31, 2026. There is a limited budget, so don't wait too long.

NIP subsidy for insulating your own home

The purpose of this subsidy is to encourage more people to insulate their homes. You may be eligible for this subsidy if you live in your own home and

  • have a registered energy label D, E, F, or G;
  • have a registered energy label C, whereby you can demonstrate that you have two poorly insulated building components;
  • you do not have a registered energy label, but you can demonstrate that you have two poorly insulated building components.

The subsidy is also available to DIY enthusiasts! The maximum subsidy is €1,925.

Subsidy applications are submitted via the energy desk.

Applications are submitted via the West Maas en Waal energy desk. Before applying for the subsidy, you must first create a personal Home File at the energy desk. This will give you a quick and easy overview of the insulation measures you could take. It will also give you a rough idea of what they will cost and what they will yield.
