Insulation Grant (NIP Grant)

Starting August 19, 2024, the NIP grant (National Insulation Program) will be available to homeowners with poorly insulated homes. The grant applies to measures carried out on or after January 1, 2023, and runs through December 31, 2028. Funding is limited, so don’t wait too long.
NIP Grant for Insulating Your Own Home

The purpose of this grant is to encourage more people to insulate their homes. You may be eligible for this grant if you live in your own home and
- have a registered energy label of D, E, F, or G;
- have a registered energy label C, and can demonstrate that you have two poorly insulated building components;
- you do not have a registered energy label, but you can demonstrate that you have two poorly insulated building components.
The grant is also available to DIYers! The maximum grant amount is €1,925.
Grant applications are submitted through the Energy Help Desk
Applications are submitted through the West Maas en Waal Energy Help Desk. Before applying for the subsidy, you must first create a personal Home Profile at through the Energy Help Desk. This will give you a quick and easy overview of the insulation measures you could take. It will also give you a general idea of their costs and benefits.
