Disposal of incontinence materials, kidney dialysis bags, needles, and medications

Incontinence materials must be disposed of in special containers. You can open the container with your Avri (residual) waste card. If you do not have a card, you can request one from Avri via www.avri.nl or by calling 0345 585 353. There is at least one container in every village. With your waste card, you can open containers in all Avri municipalities.

Kidney dialysis bags can be returned to the KCA depot at Avri recycling centers.

Used syringes and leftover medication should not be disposed of with your regular household waste. Return them to your pharmacy.
