Borrowing materials
What is it?
When you’re organizing an event, there are times when you need equipment that you don’t have yourself. For example, crowd barriers to cordon off the street, or dumpsters for trash. The city often has this equipment available. You can rent or borrow the equipment from the city.
What should I do?
You must request the materials from the municipality. Submit your request at least 4 weeks before you need them. Please include the following information:
- the types of materials and/or equipment available for loan
- the number of items to borrow
- when and for how long you would like to borrow the materials
- the reason why you want to borrow the material
