"Lauwe voor Later" Is Taking Shape: Open House on October 26

Plans for “Lauwe voor Later,” the new neighborhood to be built on the site of De Hey Acker in Beneden-Leeuwen, are taking shape. That’s why Woonstichting De Kernen, the municipality of West Maas en Waal , and the Maas & Waal healthcare group are hosting an open house at De Rosmolen on Monday, October 26.

A lot of work is being done behind the scenes

Over the past year, residents, participants in the workshops, the municipality, the Maas & Waal Care Group, the De Kernen Housing Foundation, and other partners have worked together on plans for the new neighborhood. During various meetings, they contributed ideas on housing, community spaces, green spaces, and amenities. They also discussed how residents can work together to create a pleasant neighborhood in the future.

Initial sketches indicate the direction of the plans

The main purpose of the open house is to update residents on what has happened over the past year. In addition, the organizers will show how the ideas have been incorporated into a few initial sketches of the new neighborhood. This is really just a preliminary concept that sets the direction for the plans. Visitors can share their feedback and contribute ideas regarding the further development of Lauwe voor Later.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and engage in conversation with the architect and other stakeholders.

Interested parties are welcome to attend the open house
