Request a charging station
Car ownership is relatively high in our municipality. And more and more cars are partially or fully electric. Owners of electric (lease) cars can request a public charging station. This is subject to the condition that they do not have or cannot create the possibility to charge their vehicle on their own property.

Our Charging Vision specifies when and where it is possible to install public charging stations within our municipality. One of the main conditions is that you are unable to charge your vehicle at home or at work. And, of course, you must have an electric car yourself. This means you cannot request a charging station for others, such as visitors.
A charging station is also rarely located right outside your door. We choose a location that is not directly in front of a home, but rather in an easily accessible and central location in the neighborhood. For example, between two or more applicants, so that they can all use the same charging station.
Request a public charging station
You request the public charging station yourself from the company Vattenfall. They will coordinate the location with us. We have made working agreements with Vattenfall to ensure that the entire process, from request to installation, runs smoothly. It can take between 2 and 6 months from the time you request a charging station to the time it is installed. This depends, among other things, on the number of requests in a neighborhood.
Installation and maintenance by Vattenfall
We do not install or maintain the charging stations in public spaces ourselves. We have an agreement with Vattenfall for this. They take care of everything for us and manage the process. This means that they arrange everything from the moment of application to the moment the charging station is put into use.
