What is it?
If you know someone in your community who deserves an honor, you can nominate that person.
How does it work?
Most royal honors are awarded during the "honors ceremony." The honors ceremony takes place every year on the last working day before King's Day.
- Would you like to nominate someone for next year’s royal honors? If so, you must do so by June 1 of this year at the latest.
- Is this an interim award? If so, you must submit the nomination no later than 6 months before the desired presentation date.
What should I do?
- Please contact the municipality where the nominee lives. They can let you know whether your nomination is distinguished enough to qualify for a royal honor.
