Youth rehabilitation
What is it?
Youth rehabilitation is guidance for young people who have been reported to the police or a truancy officer. They receive a personal guidance plan. Only juvenile courts, the public prosecutor's office, the Child Protection Board, and juvenile detention centers can impose youth rehabilitation. Certified institutions carry out youth rehabilitation.
What should I do?
- You can contact VraagWijzer by calling 0487 790 790. You can also send an email to info@vraagwijzerwmw.nl.
- You report your problem.
- A VraagWijzer consultant will make an appointment with you for a meeting at your home. During this meeting, your problem will be discussed in more detail and a possible solution will be sought together with you.
- You will receive a report (personal support plan) which you sign, add any comments, and return to VraagWijzer.
- This means you have immediately submitted a request if the report states that the solution must be provided by the municipality (or if you have indicated that you disagree with the solution proposed in the report and believe that the municipality should provide a solution to your problem).
How long will it take?
After you have registered with VraagWijzer, the entire investigation must be completed within six weeks. Once the report has been returned, including the application for a municipal solution, you will receive notification within two weeks as to whether you are eligible.
