Juvenile Probation
What is it?
Youth probation is a support program for young people who have been issued a police report or a report by a truancy officer. They are provided with a personalized support plan. Only juvenile court judges, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Child Protection Board, and juvenile detention centers can order youth probation. Certified institutions carry out the youth probation program.
What should I do?

- A VraagWijzer counselor VraagWijzer an appointment with you for a visit at your home. During this visit, we will discuss your problem in more detail and work with you to find a possible solution.
- You will receive a report (personal support plan) that you should sign, add any comments, and return to VraagWijzer.
- This means you have immediately submitted a request if the report states that the municipality is responsible for providing a solution (or if you have indicated that you disagree with the solution outlined in the report and believe that the municipality should provide a solution to your problem).
How long does it take?
Once you have registered with VraagWijzer , the entire investigation VraagWijzer be completed within 6 weeks. After we receive the report, which includes the request for a municipal solution, you will be notified within 2 weeks whether you are eligible for this.
