Youth assistance for young people with severe disabilities

What is it?

Care for children and young people with severe intellectual, physical, or multiple disabilities falls under the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz). This concerns children who require permanent, intensive care and supervision throughout the day. Care for people with severe behavioral disorders and mild intellectual disabilities (SVLVG) also falls under the Wlz. A Wlz indication is required for this type of care.
