Youth services for young people with severe disabilities

What is it?

Care for children and young people with severe intellectual, physical, or multiple disabilities falls under the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz). This includes children who require round-the-clock intensive care and supervision in a nearby setting on a permanent basis. Care for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities and severe behavioral disorders (SVLVG) also falls under the Wlz. A Wlz assessment ( ) is required for this type of care.
