Public comment

How does it work?

You must submit your public comment to the municipality.
You may submit a public comment on behalf of someone else. However, you will need authorization from that person.

What should I do?

You may submit your public comment in writing or orally. Oral comments are only permitted if this is specified in the notice.

Are you submitting your comments in writing? Please include the following in your statement:

  • your name and address
  • the preliminary draft plan with which you disagree
  • why you disagree with the preliminary draft
  • the date on which you are writing your public comment
  • your signature
  • if necessary, a written authorization with a signature

Would you like to submit your public comment in person? If so, please make an appointment with the municipality. The municipality will prepare a record of your oral statement, which you will then sign.
