Separate collection of diapers and incontinence products
In the municipality of West Maas en Waal, you have been able to deposit your diaper and incontinence material in special containers since January 1, 2024. At least one container is available in each village. Disposing of bags with diaper material costs nothing extra. This is covered by the waste collection levy.
The reimbursement program for incontinence supplies is being discontinued.
Open the container with a card
You can open the container for free using your Avri (residual) waste card. If you don’t have a card, you can request one from Avri at www.avri.nl/, , or by calling 0345 585 353.
You can use your Avri waste card at all textile containers, diaper and incontinence product containers, and underground general waste containers in the 8 Avri municipalities.
Special waste bags
Please place diapers and incontinence products in special waste bags. These bags are available for free at various pickup locations throughout the municipality.
You may also provide your own bag, but it must be transparent so that the waste management company (ARN) can inspect the contents.
